Is it never not the time of our lives when we double down? Castillo was probably the best its ever been. Mellowed out the "Sharks tooth" double double, the big step down had a smooth landing and the "triple" is really just a big tabletop now. Dano looked smooth as usual, Tigert is learning to get the frequent flyer miles, Potter was just messing with me all day before he uncorked a couple of hot laps to pelt me with plenty of the Castillo gravel, Matt shook off the deamons of his broken Tib/Fib and Waynium won.
Oh yeah, one more thing we all rolled around the SX track. It had been re-done for Chad Reed and showed. Only the absolute top supercross racers have any business on that track. TV does no justice to what those obstacles are really like. Once you roll up to the lip of the jump and both your bikes tires are off the ground its scary, when you roll thru the canyon gap to the landing and the same thing happens it becomes very clear that guys like me have noooo business even dreaming about riding a real supercross track.
After getting to bed by a sesible 930pm we were all rested and ready to ride by 9am even with the stupid spring forward time change. I don't think the whole team got the "early to bed for good moto" memo...
Situation #1. Cows blocking the road to Zaca. Wouldnt move for shit, I guess the white lightning perv van just wasnt menacing enough. I let Maggie out of the car and those cows took off like they had seen the Devil himself!
No idea who this is, but based on the proper form, I will assume he is a mag 5 associate.
