2010 Mammoth Motocross

For 2010 Mammoth MX the Mag 5 team was thinned out due to real life getting in the way. Doug moved to Seattle, Dan stuck at home SIWK, Tigert knee dragging, Ed still in his refractory period from Zaca Sta. crash, etc.

But Waynium held the torch and went up to the mountain more prepared than ever; new bike, actually trained, and actually raced prior to Mammoth. However, 100 yards into the first moto his weekend was over.

As some consolation, Mammoth MX newcomer, Scott Proffer, set down the saxophone long enough to make the main event in his first Mammoth ever. A lot has to go your way to do well at Mammoth so congrats to Scott on that. His results:

15th in Heat
2nd in LCQ + Holeshot Award
26th in Main (bad start, perhaps because just watched Wayne crash and rode too safe)

The Mag5 will be back in full force in 2011.
