Unafuckindilla
I sent the below email to Pingree, they posted it to Racerhead http://www.racerxonline.com/article/racerhead-33.aspx
Attached is a pic, that for me, sums up Unadilla: Caution. Well that, and a classic pic of the grassy starting line.
BTW - Speaking of Unadilla, here's one for "ask Ping": Why do they insist on trying to call it "The Wall" when everyone knows it's the "Screw U"? I mean, that's like calling Gravity Cavity "the ditch."
I'd also like to add that "the men drinking" leads to intense games of "the other side sucks." If you've never had the pleasure of being a spectator at Unafuckindilla, well then, let me explain the rules of "the other side sucks." It is played much like the game, or should I say "match" (as in tennis) of "Less filling, tastes great" except with thick NY accents. On one side of the track, a large group of men drinking launches the first volley by shouting, in unison, "the other side sucks!" The other side, which surprisingly is a large group of men drinking, then returns the serve with their own volley of "the other side sucks." This continues ad infinitum, punctuated sporadically with M80 blasts from the nearby woods and an occasional water balloon launch hitting some drunk guy on his beet-red sunburn belly. Then, hilarity ensues.
In 1998 Ron, Brad, and I went to Unadilla and rode amateur day. We each signed up for two classes, putting a total of 12 motos on that old '93 RM250. Best finish was Ronnie's 3rd in the Evolution Class.

Mt. Nebo & Bennie Creek Excursion
Pooher, Dax, Art and Potter rode in a new place on Sunday called Mt. Nebo Wilderness. The staging area was above 7000 ft. so the weather was a bit cooler. Did I say that we had happy hours every afternoon?
This is a trail that only Pooher rode at Mt. Nebo and on the suggestion of our Saturday ride leader Mark.
View from Mt. Nebo north toward SLC, you can see Utah Lake in the distance.
